Return Policy  


All ELS Canada products returns must be approved in advance, and accompanied by RMA # by ELS Canada Lighting

If you have product that you wish to return that is not subject to warranty claim, the following requirements must be met:

  • Product must have been purchased with the last 180 days of the date you file the RMA.

  • Product must in the original conditions, packages must be in re-sell able condition.

  • Product must be in good order, working, and sellable condition.

  • Used products are not acceptable

To return, please obtain an RMA form our website, and speak to your responsible agent for RMA #

To complete the form, please have the following information ready:

  • Part # of the products (usually starts with DR)

  • Quantity

  • Original PO# or Invoice # of the original purchase.

  • Date of the order received

  • Reason for return.

For Warranty Claim


To make a claim, you must contact a ELS Canada Lighting representative within 30 days of the failure. Please have the following requirements ready.

  • The failed product for inspection.

  • A copy of your original receipt/invoice


If at the determination of the Seller, the Product is deemed defective, the Seller shall, at its own discretion, elect to satisfy the warranty through any of the following methods:

  • refund the current replacement value,

  • repair the existing Product or replace the product in question.


In the event of refund, the Seller will refund only the current replacement value of the Product. In the event of repair, the Seller shall reserve the right to use new or refurbished parts. In the event of replacement, the Seller reserves the right to replace with non-identical Products that are of equivalent specifications. **In the case of repairing the defectives, replacements or refund, the warranty period shall continue as of the date of the original purchase. ** This limited warranty will not apply to loss or damage to the Product caused by: negligence; abuse; misuse; mishandling; improper installation, storage or maintenance; damage due to fire or nature hazards; vandalism; civil disturbances; power surges; improper power supply; electrical current fluctuations; corrosive environment installations; induced vibration; harmonic oscillation or resonance associated with movement of air currents around the Product; alteration; accident; failure to follow installation, operating, maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed by Seller or applicable electrical codes; or improper service of the Product performed by someone other than Seller or its authorized service provider. This limited warranty excludes field labor, freight costs and service charges related to the repair or replacement of the Product.


Upon receiving your notice, Seller will require you to promptly return the Product to Seller, or its authorized service provider, with freight prepaid by buyer.

All defective products must be received by the seller in order to have the replacement delivered or the refund.

All non-defective material MUST be returned in original packaging, in saleable condition.

All returns must be accompanied with paperwork (a copy of the Premise RMA) in order for them to be accepted by our Toronto or Edmonton warehouses.
